Lemon Basil Shrimp with Pasta

INGREDIENTS
| 225 g (8 oz) |
dry spaghetti or fettuccini |
| 450 g (1 lb) |
medium shrimp, peeled and deveined |
| 250 ml (1 cup) |
asparagus tips |
| 50 ml (1/4 cup) |
chopped basil |
| 15 ml (1 tbsp) |
capers (optional) |
| 50 ml (1/4 cup) |
olive oil |
| 50 ml (1/4 cup) |
lemon juice |
| 2 ml (1/2 tsp) |
SIFTO Sea Salt Fine Crystals |
DIRECTIONS
- Bring 1 liter water to a boil. Add pasta; cook 6 minutes; do not drain.
- Add shrimp and asparagus to pasta water and cook 3 minutes longer; drain well.
- Stir in basil, capers, olive oil, lemon juice and salt and pepper into pasta mixture. Serve immediately.
