Thawrox™ Treated Salt
Thawrox is a high-performance highway deicing product that blends traditional road salt with several liquid deicing additives, including sugars found in renewable products such as corn and sugar cane. It delivers exceptional cold-weather deicing performance and expanded melting capacity. Reduced “bounce and scatter” keeps Thawrox where it has been applied. With fewer trips required to keep roads clear, you can reduce applications by 25 to 50 percent, and labour and equipment costs can be reduced as well.
Thawrox has minimal impact on application equipment and the environment, and its distinctive colour makes it easy to see where it has been applied. This solid, granular product contains additives to help reduce or eliminate stockpile leaching.
FreezGard® Liquid Magnesium Chloride
As the leading high-performance liquid deicing product, FreezGard offers unsurpassed low-temperature performance and melting capacity. An extremely flexible product, FreezGard can be used by itself or with an agricultural tank-mix partner in nearly any liquid anti-icing, deicing or stockpile treatment program. Two formulations are available: FreezGard Zero, with 30 percent magnesium chloride, and FreezGard CI Plus, with 30 percent magnesium chloride and a corrosion inhibitor. FreezGard CI Plus meets PNS specifications and is listed as a Category 1 approved product on the PNS list.
ArctiClear™ Gold
ArctiClear Gold improves your salt brine deicing program by improving low-temperature performance and expanding your brine's melting capacity. Its unique and flexible formulation offers less impact on application equipment and road hardware, and it is also easy to use in any weather condition and salt brine system.
ArctiClear Gold also reduces the corrosion of salt brine solutions. When mixed with salt brine, it will achieve PNS corrosion ratings of more than 70 percent reduction relative to salt brine.
ArctiClear™ CI Plus
ArctiClear CI Plus reduces the corrosion of salt brine solutions. It can be added at low concentrations to achieve PNS corrosion ratings (more than 70 percent corrosion reduction relative to salt brine) without substantially altering the sodium chloride content.
